I believe that your most cherished memories deserve to be preserved in frames that are as unique and special as the memories they hold. My own home is filled with gallery walls where my travels and most treasured memories live, reflecting the importance of having physical reminders of life’s beautiful moments. Every frame in my collection is meticulously sourced and curated by me, Nikki, a dedicated wedding and family photographer with a heart for collecting antique frames that feel like they have stories of their own.
Each Heirloom frame is a second-hand, vintage gem full of character and charm, carefully selected to complement the timeless nature of your memories. Bringing new life to these found pieces that become a home for your most precious photos is truly a match made in heaven.
The process begins with you choosing a frame from the shop followed by selecting a photograph captured by Nikki Kate Photography that you wish to preserve forever. You can choose a photo from your wedding day or session captured by me or my team, or a photo from the NKP Archives Print Shop (click on the button to the left see gallery) filled with artistic landscape and nature photography I have collected. Once you've made your selection, I will handle the rest with the utmost care and quality. Your chosen photo will be professionally printed, framed by Nikki in your chosen Heirloom frame, and shipped directly to you (or delivered in person if you are local).

Once the frame is purchased, you will receive an email from Nikki with instructions on how to select the photo in your gallery that you would like printed for your Heirloom Frame.

Your Heirloom Frame arrives to your home and the next step is for you to find a special spot for it to live and for you to cherish for years to come.

Welcome to the Heirloom Frame Shop. A place for previous NKP couples and families to purchase a storied frame to beautifully preserve your favorite photo. The first step is to purchase the frame. The cost includes the frame, print, framing by Nikki, and shipping.

Once your photo is selected, please allow 4-5 weeks for your photo to be sent to print, allow time for Nikki to frame your print with love, and pack and ship your frame to your home. If you are local, we can arrange for Nikki to personally deliver it to you if possible.
The Launch Collection
Introducing "The Launch Collection" at The Heirloom Frame Shop, a carefully curated selection of frames that embody antique charm and timeless character. These are the very first frames I have collected for the shop, each chosen for its charm and vintage character. The collection features 10 frames with a mix of wood, resin, and metal frames, each with its own story to tell. "The Launch Collection" is a celebration to mark the launch of my new website, brand, and the Heirloom Frame Shop. I am so excited to share it with you.

Yes. The price of the frame does include the cost of a print and you will be able to choose one from the NKP Archive Print shop. These are photos of landscapes and nature I’ve collected throughout my travels that I think would look beautiful in any home.

I have personally sourced these frames from all over. I am always on the search for unique frames with character and charm and typically source them at antique stores I stumble upon. All frames are second hand.

I aim to launch a new collection of frames every quarter.

All frames are final sale and non-refundable.

Once your frame is purchased, I will send over an email with instructions on how to select the photo you’d like to be framed. Once you have selected your photo it will take 4-5 weeks to send your photo to print, frame your photo with care, and ship or deliver this precious heirloom to you.

I would LOVE to personally deliver all of my frames! If it is possible, we can schedule a time that works for both of us. If our schedules don't aline, life is a little too hectic, or you are more than a 30 mile radius from the Chicago area, shipping will be the best option.

The price of the frame includes the frame itself, the print that will go in it, and shipping. Tax will be an additional cost.

There is something so special and nostalgic about seeing your favorite memory framed in something with character and has a story of its own. There are a variety of frames to choose from to fit the style of your home.

All frames are second hand and have lived a life before me discovering them. There is natural wear on them that has developed over time (which I think make them so special and give them character). Please be sure to look through all of the details of the frame before purchasing. There are close ups to see any flaws or imperfections.

Yes! If you have booked a session with us that hasn't happened yet, you can still purchase an Heirloom frame. I will save your frame for you and once your gallery has been delivered and you've selected the photo you want printed, I will get that ready to go for you! If you do not have a session or wedding booked with us, you will be able to choose a print from the NKP Archives Gallery.
