My top 5 favorite locations in Chicago

It is no secret that I’m a Chicago wedding photographer and obsessed with the city I call home. The Windy City is full of gorgeous gems, whether you are trying to decide where you want to meet for your engagement session or for bridal party photos on your wedding day, here are my top 5 favorite spots in the Windy City to help you decide!

1. RiverWalk off of Wacker Drive - The RiverWalk is such a classic, stunning spot. There are so many different gorgeous spots that are so photogenic! The creamy white buildings and dreamy lights look gorgeous in photos! Definitely one of my top recommendations if you are going for “city vibes”.

2. North Avenue Beach - Truly one of my favorite spots in the city with an epic skyline view. Along with the beach, you get a stunning view of Lake Michigan. I love this spot because you can get your toes in the sand and snag some beach photos alongside your skyline photos.

3. Milton Lee Olive Park - This park has another stunning view of the Chicago Skyline. There is a cool overlook that is right over water and a gorgeous row of trees along the path of this park.

4. Wicker Park - I recently discovered how gorgeous Wicker Park is after meeting one of my couples at the Robey. This slice of Chicago is filled with older buildings and I love the way the subway tracks added to the downtown city vibes. Every corner we turned along this street was so unique!

5. Studios in Chicago - There are so many studios I love shooting in, especially during the cold months. Chicago winters can be brutal but studio sessions are always a great option to stay indoors for your session. Some of my favorite Chicago studios include Sunlit Studio Chicago, Tova Studios, and the South Facing Windows!

Every corner of Chicago is a gem and so beautiful. You truly can’t go wrong with where you have your session! I hope these location ideas helped!! Can’t wait to meet you for a session in Chicago sometime soon!
